About Us

Sprig brings dentists and their patients safer, healthier products

“What began as a parent’s heartbreak, my heartbreak became our mission—to create something better, lasting, and truly caring for every child’s smile.”

— Brenda L. Hansen, CEO, Sprig Oral Health Technologies

It all started with a slip in the shower. When Brenda Hansen’s son fell and injured his four front teeth, the available treatment options—strip crowns and preveneered stainless steel crowns—fell short. They didn’t meet the standards of Dr. John Hansen, whose background in adult cosmetic dentistry demanded something healthier, longer-lasting, and more esthetic for children.

Out of that moment came a movement. A commitment to do better. And from that commitment, the EZCrown was born—the world’s first pediatric zirconia crown. Designed with heart, backed by science, and built to restore confidence in every child’s smile.

Meet Ella
It breaks my heart to think that our failure to make a correct decision might have caused our sweet and confident Ella to compromise her smile throughout childhood and possibly thereafter. So, as parents, we have turned our nearly devastating experience into a success story.

Meet Alex
Being a mom as well as an RDA and knowing what I do about the importance of prevention, I found it hard to face the reality that my own child needed dental treatment. Yet, in Alex’s case, since the hypoplasia on his teeth resulted from uncontrollable causes, there was no way for me to have prevented the condition.

Meet Rylee
It was rough. Because like, you know it was my fault. As a mom it was, well what could I have done different? Could I have done anything different? Could I have brushed more? Maybe I could have brushed less. It was really hard to get over that and overcome that.

Meet Sam
When we found out that he had to get crowns I was so worried he was going to have silver all over his mouth. Being able to preserve that natural-looking smile through the use of EZCrowns has allowed my son to display a level of self-confidence I have never seen in him before.
